Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches participants to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Ithaca Warm Line Training

Have you ever wanted to be a support for those feeling lonely and needing social connection? We are always recruiting volunteers for the Ithaca Warm Line. Volunteers will talk with individuals just needing someone to connect with, not finding themselves in a crisis situation.This line, established in March of 2023, has been an incredible value to our community (and surrounding areas) and allows us to prevent individuals from reaching points of crisis. Volunteers are asked to work one 4-hour shift per week. The Ithaca Warm Line is operational 24/7 so scheduling can be made convenient for you.
